Would you rather be shot or stabbed?

When did choosing a Governor turn into Sophie's choice?  We'll admit to not being a huge fan of SE Wisconsin.  Mention Shared Revenue to any city administrators up here and they'll pull out a secret map that shows WI with new borders - Metro Milwaukee having been sold to Illinois in exchange for annexing the UP. 

But reality is what it is, including the fact that everyone North of Hwy 10 (and West of Hwy 51) feels like a red-headed step child when it comes to State politics.    It's part of the reason we inexplicably loved the Emperor Tommy I - he wasn't from the Madison-Milwaukee corridor.  After 8 years of the quintessential Dane County Insider our choices are the Mayor of Milwaukee, the Exec of the County of Milwaukee, or a former Milwaukee area Congressman.  Where's door number 4?

The real issue tomorrow is to see if the Chosen One (Scott Walker) can fend off the late charging Mark Nuemann.  We doubt it. Seems to us that if Neumann was a serious candidate he would have actually taken aim at all of Walker's low hanging fruit (and there seems to be soooo much of it).

And then there's Tom Barrett.  Seems like a decent guy. How can you not admire a guy going to the rescue of a stranger in harms way and getting beat up for it?  But Governor?

We shall see.
