When is a job not a job?

So I get home from work today and pull up the JS Online in order to see if the rumored Packers trade of A.J. Hawk for Marshawn Lynch has taken place, when I'm greeted with this: State reports anemic job growth in August.

Reading into the brief we find that Wisconsin only added 1900 private sector jobs in August.  Not great, but at least it's a positive.  Wisconsin also had a net loss of 2600 Government jobs.

So where's the cheers from the Tea Bag crowd and their Republican masters?  Or is that the other way around?

Isn't government too big?  Isn't the war cry "Less Government?"

Well, here's a concrete example of less government: 2600 fewer leeches living off off the taxpayers.

C'mon!  There should be celebrating in the streets!  A blow was struck against the Leviathan with surely more to come!

Never mind that these 2600 will more than likely go back on the dole while collecting unemployment.  I bet they might need job retraining too.  It never ends with these people does it? They always have a hand out.

I bet they owned houses they couldn't afford too.  Now they'll be foreclosed upon.  Damn governement workers get you no matter which way they go don't they?

Hopefully, none of them did something important like teach, or fight fires, or patrol the streets.

What am I saying? Of course they didn't.

There's no such thing as an important government worker.
