Honesty Trumps Ideology

In a fall campaign being driven by Republican clarion calls to repeal "job killing taxes and regulations" and return to shoveling money toward corporations,  its refreshing to find an ostensibly right leaning blog that will call a spade a spade.  I direct you to the latest post over at Playground Politics.  We've been fans of the Recess Supervisor for a few years and appreciate his candor in a miasma of partisan propaganda.  The last line says it all:

Buy it for $109MM, write down $162MM in losses, then stick another $29MM in the company's piggy bank two years later and sell the whole thing back to the guys who sold it to you for just under $4.

Yeah, and the big problem at Harley-Davidson is the cost of labor.

Reminds us of the closing of the Polaris plant in Osceola, WI.  The plant owners in its last year procured millions in tax incentives, grants and orders from the State and Federal governments... and still moved the plant to Mexico in order to increase profits, decimating a small town. 

Be aware of the corporate mismanagement out there and who ends up paying for it before you vote this November.
