Heard on the campaign trail... tweeting!

We just love Twitter.  Didn't at first. Figured it was just a bunch of people proclaiming what they had for lunch in 140 characters or less.  But some of the state-wide candidates twitter feeds are fantastic - Scott Walker's is a must read. Ron Johnson, Inc's isn't bad either.

The best part is learning to decipher their true meaning.  Take this one from Terry Moulton:

"Enjoyed meeting so many new supporters at the Neillsville event last night. Thank you to all who helped organize, contributed or attended!"

Translation: I didn't realize Clark County was in the 23rd Senate District.  I wish Scott Suder would have told me. Why is he avoiding me?

They're fun and informational if you can get around the b.s.

The only bad thing about election Twitter feeds is all the good ones seem to be Republican. We are especially disappointed in Pat Kreitlow's. It should be great, but after the fooferaw caused by his blog in 2006, I'm sure Madison handed it over to some low level staffer and made sure Senator Kreitlow doesn't know the password.

Too bad.  If anybody knows of a few good Wisconsin progressive Twitter sites, drop us a line and share.
