Dave Westlake, thanks for playing...

Oh please, please, please, don't let the GOP forget the "Shakedown of BP" meme this Summer. Alas, I fear even they are not that stupid.  Still, it didn't stop WI GOP Senate hopeful Dave Westlake from stepping in it today.  I know next to nothing about Ron Johnson, but he already has my vote. 

How tone deaf are you to think that a company that got to write its own regulations, oversee its own safety tests and still managed to f*** up the Gulf Coast (and maybe more) for a generation gets off with no guarantee of payment of damages?  I am no fan of Socialism, but if ever there was a case for Nationalizing the assets of a company, this was the case.  I hope you win in the Primary Ron. You have no shot in November. 

I still can't believe the GOP ran Dick Leinenkugel off on a rail.  He was the one guy on your side I was scared of...
